Black Sun Records has become the label for upcoming Death Metal bands like Crown of Thorns and Sacrilege as well as a label for rereleases of classic acts like At The Gates and Grotesque on CD. To help bands reach a larger audience, while acknowledging their roots, the label has also released three tribute-albums: "Metal Militia" for Metallica and "Slatanic Slaughter" part 1&2 for Slayer. Black Sun's first release came in December -94. After the succes of Metal Militia there was no turning back. Black Sun will continue to put out high class Death Metal!
