Greetings... Some of you may have not heard yet of the excellent acts like JEEL and TYPHOID. If this is the case we will tell you few interesting things regarding these bands as well as other information that you may find helpful.
JEEL is a demonic Death Metal band from Denmark. In 1997, they released their debut album „Dying Dreams“. Two years later Jeel recorded their second album „As Morning Turns To Day“ released through IMMORTAL SOULS PRODS. When the album came out ISP had been facing a lot of difficulties and our promotional department turned out to be dysfunctional. Therefore, we would like to summon all of the cadaverous creatures again, and let you experience the JEEL/s demonic power that has been laying unnoticed due to the lacking promotion. „As Morning Turns To Day“ contains 12 songs exploding with relentless beat of heavy riffs intertwined with grim melody. The critics of many renowned magazines spoke highly of Jeel and compared them to the bands like Bolt Thrower or Obituary. (Rock Hard 5/2000 gave them 7.5 out of 10 points!). The quality of this release is also due to the excellent sound mastered by Jacom Hansen (ex-Invocator, today the owner of Serious Entertainment) in his Aabenraa Studio.
TYPHOID is a young band playing what some embrace as US Brutal Death Metal. Their debut „Ruptured Self Control“ which came out at the end of the last year, represents a sheer brutality that could be compared only to such acts like Suffocation, Monstrocity or Broken Hope. If you dare to stand against their detonating sound, then prepare yourself to have your brains mangled. Typhoid/s „Raptured Self Control“ will fulfill your self destructive desires till you drop dead.
